Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput is no more. He committed suicide and was found dead at his apartment in Mumbai. The news has sent a shockwave, and that fact that he is no more, hasn’t sunk in yet. Celebrities such as Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Raj Kundra, Pulkit Samrat, and Anurag Kashyap are in disbelief and are left shocked and speechless. Sushant, who made his Bollywood debut with the film Kai Po Che, was last seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore, which also starred Shraddha Kapoor.

It’s ironic and extremely heartbreaking that his last film Chhichhore taught us that suicide isn’t the solution, and we wished the actor who spoke about suicide not being the way out, had only believed in those words himself. The movie centered around not succumbing to failure, and that there always is a way out. Now, looking back and remembering Sushant’s convincing performance in the film, giving hopes to many, it’s rather distressing to hear that the actor hung himself.

Netizens themselves couldn’t believe it, and while one user wrote, “#chhichhore spoke about accepting failure and suicide not being the way out. Please say it’s a rumour. Deeply distributing. Another young life gone. How ironic your last film Chichore spoke about suicide, mental illness and pressures of life. Sad.”
